ORLANDO, FL – October 25, 2025 – This past weekend, McKinley joined a sea of pink at Lake Eola, participating as a proud sponsor in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. The event drew close to 50,000 participants, the largest of its kind in the nation, uniting survivors, supporters, and community partners for a day of solidarity and hope.
Members of the McKinley team arrived in the early morning with a vibrant booth where they greeted attendees, shared information about their apartment homes, and passed out goodies. A central feature of their setup was an interactive pink ribbon wall, which served as a backdrop for many photos, capturing the day's inspiring and emotional moments.
A major highlight of the day was the surprise presentation of a specially curated self-care basket to a survivor named Kris and her dog, Bentley. The gift was designed as a heartfelt reminder for her to nurture herself after a journey that so often requires pouring immense strength and love into others.
For the McKinley team, the day was a powerful reminder that a home is more than four walls—it's being part of a community that supports one another.
